Lobinho
Lobinho is a tattoo artist from Pernambuco, Brazil.
He has been drawing since he was four, and his interest in tattoos began early, when he started spending time with a local tattoo artist after school at the age of 11. As he observed the local tattoo scene, his curiosity and enthusiasm grew quickly, and he made his first tattoo at 13. From then until he was 15, he slowly began collecting and buying tattoo machines and equipment. At 16, he attended drawing school to perfect his craft. He soon returned to tattooing, however, when he realised that this was where his passion lay. He began by tattooing his friends, and in 1999 he officially started his career as a tattoo artist. He eventually opened his own studio and co-owned Nippe Tattoo in Brazil from 2005 to 2008. After Nippe Tattoo, he moved to Denmark, where he has worked at Royal Tattoo in Helsingør since 2010.
He has a strong passion for Japanese and realistic tattoo art, as well as black and grey work. He takes pride in his technical approach to tattooing and believes that a good tattoo starts with a good drawing. He spends a great deal of time applying drawing theory to his work to ensure that his tattoos last for a long time.
