2. What are cookies?

Cookies are small text files stored on your computer, tablet or phone. Similar technologies can also store information in your browser. They can be used to remember your choices, make the website work and measure its use.

Necessary cookies may be used without consent. Cookies for statistics, additional features and marketing require your consent when these services are used.

3. Cookie choices with CookieFirst

CookieFirst is the chosen solution for managing cookie choices on Royal Tattoo’s website. You can accept or reject optional cookies and choose between the available categories in the cookie panel. Your choice applies to the browser and device you are using.

You can change your choice or withdraw your consent through the cookie settings. Withdrawal does not affect the lawfulness of processing that has already taken place based on your consent.

5. When you contact us

When you write or call us, we process the information you provide, such as your name, email address, phone number and the content of your enquiry. We use this information to reply and to arrange or manage an appointment.

Processing is carried out to perform a contract or take steps before a contract at your request (Article 6(1)(b) of the General Data Protection Regulation). Other general enquiries are processed based on our legitimate interest in answering them (Article 6(1)(f)).

Only send information relevant to your enquiry. Do not send your Danish personal identification number (CPR number) or health information by ordinary email.

The website forms use Resend to send your enquiry and any reference image to Royal Tattoo’s email inbox. Your email address is used as the reply address. The forms do not store a copy in the website CMS.

6. Operation and external services

The website is hosted by Cloudflare. During visits, technical information such as IP addresses and information about browsers and requests is processed to deliver and protect the website. The purpose is stable and secure operation, based on our legitimate interest (Article 6(1)(f)).

The website contains links to services including Instagram, Google Maps and our external webshop. When you follow a link, that service’s own cookie and privacy policy applies.

Providers processing personal data on our behalf may only process it according to our instructions. If data is transferred to countries outside the EU/EEA, the transfer must have a valid basis, such as an adequacy decision or the European Commission’s standard contractual clauses.

7. How long do we keep data?

Information from enquiries is kept for as long as necessary to answer your enquiry, manage the agreement or handle any claims. Data is deleted when the purpose no longer requires it, unless the law requires continued retention. Cookies have the lifetimes shown in the cookie overview when it is available.

8. Your rights

As a general rule, you have the right to access your data and have incorrect data corrected. Depending on the circumstances, you may also have data deleted, restrict processing, object to processing and receive data in a commonly used format. If processing is based on consent, you can withdraw it.

Contact art@royaltattoo.com to exercise your rights. You can complain about our processing of personal data to the Danish Data Protection Agency.

9. Changes to this policy

We update this policy when the website’s services or the processing of personal data change.
